Are we seeing another sign of Irelands stumbling economy?
SR Technics Ireladn which was formely called Team Aer Lingus is feeling the straing of the current economic downturn.
CEO Brent Kessler met with Tanaiste Mary Coughlan in relation to the companies ongoing financial difficulties.
It has been losing some key contracts including three contracts for maintanance for its previous owner Aer Lingus.
It also lost a major contract for Gulf Air, which was one of its largest contractgs.

Classic Furniture has gone into receivership, leading to 8 job losses with the closure of 2 of its stores in Navan and Sligo, this is due to the sharp downturn in demand for furniture products. Other stores are being looked at throughout Ireland such as the Kylemore road, Coolock, Kilkenny, Blanchardstown and Carrickmines branches. Kieran Wallace of KPMG is overseeing the receivership for Classic furniture.
