Scratching his head for ideas
Ireland's living standards are set to fall by 10% in the next 2 years, as the faltering economy keeps on sinking, so our Taoiseach Brian Cowen believes.
This would take us back 6 years to 2003, wiping 6 years of progress.
I estimate the decline will be much higher though due to a number of factors.

Cowen to Speak with Obama about Ireland's dismal Economy
President of the United States Barack Obama will meet Ireland's unpopular Taoiseach Brain Cowen in Washington on the traditional March 17th, Irish- United States Saint Patrick's, day meeting.
