Northern Ireland House price slump
House prices in Northern Ireland slumped by almost 30% in 2008, this is the worst housing slump since the dreary
economic days of the early 1980's.
Figures were published in the latest University Quarterly
house price index.
House sales were severally down too, with only 704
transactions recorded in the final quarter, up from the
dismal 670 from the previous quarter.
Limavady seen the worst slump of 42.1%

Property rental collapse Ireland
Rents collapse in Ireland, the following figures will be unsettling for property owners, details from the Irish Daft Property report are below,

Building activity down in Ireland!
Activity in the construction sector has fallen to an all time low in Ireland.
The Ulster Bank, Republic iof Ireland Index has fallen from 27.4 in December to a new low of 25.7 in January.
Lowest recorded activity since survey began in 2000.
A rating below 50 signals a fall.
Costs index has also fallen to a record low, this is partly due to the strength of the euro
